When Mirela & Marwin approached me saying they would like to have a documentary wedding photographer shoot their beautiful wedding at Hofgut-Dippelshof, in Darmstadt, Germany, I was beyond excited, not only because as a photographer I love traveling for events and photographing a destination wedding in Germany would be an amazing opportunity to add another location to my list of countries where I’ve shot destination weddings so far, but also because the wedding venue itself looked really really really nice. Hofgut-Dippelshof Hotel is an amazing wedding location in Germany, with a very large garden, perfect for outdoor weddings. There is a beautiful pond on the premises, lots of green space for kids to play and very lush greenery surrounding the entire place.
Mirela & Marwin’s day started with the bride and groom preparations, at the hotel. They were getting ready at the same time, but with their rooms being very close to each other, on the same floor, it was easy to cover both of them and get some beautiful documentary wedding photos.

Once ready, it was time for the reveal and outdoor wedding ceremony at Hofgut-Dippelshof Hotel. Mirela & Marwin hadn’t seen each other that day so they were both anxious for the first look. Mirela was so emotional getting ready to walk down the isle, with her mum by her side, while Marwin was also waiting anxiously along with the rest of the guests. It all made for a very sweet first look!
Sunset Wedding Photoshoot - Hofgut Dippelshof Hotel Darmstadt
After the beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony, the champagne and cake cutting, we headed down onto a nearby golf course, for the most amazing sunset wedding photoshoot!
Mirela & Marwin wanted a natural and romantic wedding photoshoot and that’s exactly what we did. I loved spending this alone time with them and getting to see up close how amazing they are together.
It’s hard to put into words how incredible the light was that afternoon, but luckily I don’t have to, as I can simply let these images below speak for themselves! <3
Right after the wedding photosession at Hofgut-Dippelshof, Marwin’s best man offered them a beautiful moment, playing a couple of songs, right before Marwin’s dad took over and delivered an amazing speech that touched so many people, but especially Mirela, who was so emotional!

Right after, we all headed inside for more speeches, from the bride and groom, some food and then a beautiful first dance, followed by an incredible wedding party at Hofgut Dippelshof Hotel, which lasted well into the night! Everyone had an amazing time and there were so many people who just kept on dancing and having a blast. I really loved this wedding and I thank Mirela & Marwin for choosing me to be their wedding photographer and trusting me with their precious memories.
